Montana falafel: the Egyptian breakfast, frozen at its best
Our new ready-to-fry falafel is shaped from soaked broad beans, fresh herbs and spices — straight from the Egyptian table to your freezer.
Falafel — known in Egypt as ta'ameya — is the country's most beloved breakfast, and now it joins the Montana range as a ready-to-fry frozen product.
We build it the traditional way: peeled broad beans soaked overnight, then ground with coriander, parsley, garlic, leek and a measured blend of spices. The mixture is shaped into uniform patties and flash-frozen so the texture holds — crisp and golden on the outside, soft and green inside once fried. No pre-cooking, no preservatives: you drop the patties straight from the freezer into hot oil.
The product ships in retail bags for the home kitchen and in food-service packs for restaurants and hotels that want a consistent, authentic falafel without the overnight prep. For our diaspora customers, it is a taste of an Egyptian morning anywhere in the world.
