Common questions from importers
- What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
- Most products are available from one retail carton (e.g., 20 bags of 400 g). For foodservice and bulk formats, typical MOQ is one full container (20–27 tonnes depending on product). Contact our export desk for exact quantities by product.
- What certifications does Montana hold?
- Montana holds BRCGS, IFS Food, ISO 22000, HACCP, GLOBALG.A.P., GMP, SMETA, Halal, NFSA, QCAP, FDA and CODEX certifications. These ensure compliance with European retailer standards and international food safety requirements.
- How long is the delivery lead time?
- Lead times vary by region: 4–10 days to GCC countries via road and sea ferry, 10–18 days to Europe, and 18–28 days to Asia and North America. We despatch from our Qalyub facility near Cairo with regular container schedules.
- Do you offer private label or custom blending?
- Yes — we offer private label packaging and can produce custom vegetable blends. Our 3-way and 4-way standard mixes (peas, carrots, green beans, sweet corn, broccoli, cauliflower) serve as starting points; we also create bespoke formulations for brand owners and distributors.
- What is IQF freezing and why does it matter?
- IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) flash-freezes each piece individually within hours of harvest, locking in natural taste, colour, texture and nutrients. Unlike block-frozen products, IQF items can be portioned one-by-one without thawing the entire batch — ideal for foodservice and retail.
