Sweet corn: golden kernels, frozen at their sweetest

Montana

Corn starts turning its sugar to starch the moment it's picked. We freeze it fast, so what you taste is the field, not the warehouse.

Sweet corn is a race against its own chemistry. From the moment a cob is picked, its sugars begin converting to starch — which is why corn that sat for days tastes flat and floury. Freezing within hours stops that clock.

Montana's sweet corn kernels are cut from cobs at peak ripeness and individually quick-frozen, capturing the sugar, the snap and the bright golden colour at their best. Because they're IQF, the kernels stay separate and free-flowing — you measure out a handful for a salad or a full bag for a stew and reseal the rest.

It's one of our most versatile everyday lines, equally at home in retail freezer aisles and in food-service kitchens building soups, salads, rice dishes and the mixed-vegetable blends it anchors.
